The ROCKY MOUNTAIN INN warmly welcomes you to stay with us in the quaint little town of Paonia, Colorado. Come and enjoy our completely renovated Inn, which harkens us back to decades past with its classic Western theme. You’re sure to appreciate the 40’s cowgirl photos that hang in the rooms, Forest Hart’s bronze bear sculptures that are lounging on the grounds and Demian Durastanti’s hand-carved totem pole standing in the center of the property. As you feel yourself slowing down, relaxing and breathing in the fresh pastoral air, you’ll be glad you chose to stay with us here on the western slope of the Rocky Mountains.

We have a variety of rooms to accommodate just about everyone, from the solitary traveler, to family groups or larger special event gatherings. The beautifully landscaped grounds provide lots of outdoor areas to kick back and get away from it all or enjoy the scenery after a rousing day of taking in the local sites.   A leisurely walk to Town provides you with great restaurants, local art and musicians and lots of friendly people. Drive through the open ranch and farm land to sample our locally grown fruit and produce and spend the afternoon tasting beer at Paonia’s local brewery or tour any of the local vineyards for a taste of award winning fine wines. Our neighborhood also offers great hunting, fishing, biking, rafting, cross country skiing and wilderness exploring.

All of our rooms have private tiled bathrooms and are equipped with coffee makers, microwave ovens, refrigerators, Direct T.V. with movies sports and business channels, phones and central air cooling. We also have a large variety of rooms with complete, fully equipped kitchens; some with multiple beds.

We now have high-speed wireless internet available to the entire property.  There are also computers available two doors down at our new Paonia Library. Room telephones are available for local calls. You will need a telephone calling card to make long distance calls. AT&T cell phones work great, Verizon and other carriers do not work so well in our valley. Call (970) 527-3070 for reservations, more complete room descriptions and room rates.
